Dennis and Grace Willing and Wheeling (Their touching story should see print.)
Two weeks before their wedding, Dennis caught the virus Guillian Barre Syndrome (GBS), fatal infection which paralyzed his legs. A deferred wedding and a rough road to rehab did not dampen their love.
The wedding pushed through after one year. Blessed with 2 kids and despite his paralysis, this wheel-chaired Stag rolled on to chair an NGO as chairman/president and as ABS_CBN farm-caster; winning awards along the way for his achievements. He farms now in Davao, fulfilled.
Dennis willed-and-wheeled along the way, despite the inevitable humps-and-bumps.
;-) Shine on, Stag Dennis L.! You should write your autobiography: WILLING AND WHEELING (The Story of Dennis Lainez, 4B Stag)
