    Teens in the '70s
    (The 4B Stags in the "Age of Aquarius")

    the Stylistics of our youth –
    when we were teens
    in blue jeans;

    a time when intimate soft whispers
    entwine
    with discomfited dance rhythms.

    the deepening summer night
    is mute witness
    to the sudden vanishing 
    of the dim red light,

    ushering the age of discotheque.
